Testosterone & Performance Hormones
This simple home saliva test provides your baseline testosterone level along with 3 other key hormones that can also play a role in low sex drive, mood, energy levels, weight gain, bone loss, high blood pressure, increased blood sugars, and low immunity.
This test is helpful for those wanting a more comprehensive look into their overall symptoms.
Our testosterone kits measure the amount of free testosterone or bioavailable testosterone in your system, and are ideal for the initial screening of testosterone levels. Your saliva samples can accurately represent circulating levels of free testosterone which can then be correlated to symptoms of excessive or deficient testosterone levels.
In addition to being called “the stress hormone”, cortisol helps in proper glucose metabolism, and converting sugars into energy.
High cortisol levels in men have been associated with hyperglycemia ( high blood sugars), weight gain, compromised immune function and high blood pressure.
Cortisol imbalance is known to result in conditions like irritability, fatigue, depression, foggy thinking, weight gain and bone loss.
Low Cortisol levels can cause chronic fatigue, low energy, low immunity, food and sugar cravings, poor exercise tolerance or recovery.
In males, estradiol is involved in sperm maturation and also helps to maintain a healthy libido.
High Estrogen levels in men can Result in weight gain, increased chest and belly fat, hot flashes, night sweats & excessive urination. Estradiol has a significant role in maintaining healthy bone growth and improving blood flow in coronary arteries in addition to offering neuroprotective effects.
DHEA is produced by the adrenal glands and is a precursor to both testosterone and estrogens. DHEA is also a neurohormone as small quantities are produced in the brain. It has a broad spectrum of benefits including improved energy, mood, memory, increased testosterone levels, enhanced libido and immune function.
In men, low DHEA levels can cause low libido, reduced muscle mass and strength, depression, fatigue and compromised immune function.
